Let's look for some protection,
just a little for the heart,
just a little more reflection
on how we come together
and how we spin apart.
Let's try to keep control;
let's not crank it blind --
the throttle of this joyride
at the firewall of the mind.
Better yet, let's let it roar.
Let's pour it on and burn it bright.
Let's try to hit the speed of light,
and steal a moment more.
Let's find a place we've never been,
and laugh our crazy laughs
and live until we get brought in.
